The Purge - Shortcut to Liberty

 

 

 For centuries, our nation faced numerous economic crisis and serious downfalls, all in which we must all agree that it is about time to make a change. It is my honor, to mention that as a part of the New Founding Fathers of America, we are now entering our first Annual Purge.

                Despite all great events and time periods out nation had celebrated, it has come to my attention that even with the laws our federal government created, crimes are at an all-time high and rates within all crimes that exist, the numbers appear to rise – rapidly. In the year of 2008, I regretfully say that crime rates are unimaginable.

 

Murder - 45.7%

Robbery and Theft – 67.4%

Rape - 21.8%

Others – 57.3%

               

Fellow citizens of America, I am sincerely please to state that we, the elected officials of the American Government, have come together from all sides of the political system, that we are all faced towards one dream:  A Nation Reborn. With this being said, I now state that tonight, February 18, 2014 at exactly 8:00PM, all emergency services will be suspended during the 12-hour period of the purge. In this time scale, no laws are illegal to break. The entire United State are now given the chance to commit any crime they desire. This given opportunity was created to have people release psychological aggression towards others and, at the same time, have our people protect their country against any individual who threatens their rights and their country. That is, people are now able to murder, steal, and assault all over within the United States. According to research, we are confident enough to say that from this day forward (with continued Purge), all crime rates will increase dramatically. As for the federal’s prediction, we are able to say that within the 5^th consecutive year, crime rates will be as low as stated:

Rape – 16.5%

Assault – 9.2%

Burglary – 5.3

Arson – 21.9%

Auto theft – 45.5%
